The Impact of SEO Over Time

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a complex service that requires a lot of time and effort, but the results you can achieve make it worthwhile! It can take months, even years, to really see the impact that SEO work has. It drives valuable traffic to your website, attracting visitors who are genuinely interested in your services so are more likely to enquire, therefore increasing the number of leads your business has over time.

We’ve been working with some of our clients for over five years now and have helped many achieve great results. Here are a few case studies of clients who have seen good progress with their SEO over time.

Patol

Patol, based in Padworth, Berkshire, are an industry leader in the design and manufacture of specialist smoke, heat and fire detection products for industrial applications. They provide fire detection solutions in the UK and overseas, with a strong market in India.

Organic Google Traffic Patol

We have been working with Patol since 2014, and in the six years that we have been working on the SEO on their website, we have seen a steady increase in organic Google traffic and the total number of visitors to the website. When comparing 2014 and 2019, we can see that organic Google traffic has more than tripled, increasing by around 204%!

Conversions Patol

In addition to this, the website has received an increased number of conversions each year. In 2019, 248 people submitted a contact form or got in touch by clicking on an email address or phone number on the website. That’s a whopping 202 more conversions than there was in 2015!

Aspire Clinic

Aspire Clinic are a leading cosmetic clinic based in Reading. They offer a range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments to clients in the Berkshire area. Alongside general SEO work for Aspire, we also assist them with Email Marketing, Social Media, Social Advertising and Google Ads campaigns.

Organic Google Traffic Aspire

Organic Google traffic has increased hugely since we started working with them in 2013. As of 2019 the website had 12,168 organic Google visitors, an increase of 78% compared to 2013.

Total Visitors Aspire

The total amount of traffic to the website has also steadily increased over the past seven years. In 2019, the total number of visitors to the website was at its highest ever, at 31,599 visitors. This is an increase of 143% compared to 2013!

Crown Lofts

Crown Lofts are a Loft Conversion company based in Basingstoke who work with clients across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and South West London. Whilst we have been working with them for a comparatively little period of time, we have seen great results in terms of the traffic and the number of conversions on their website in the past three years.

We have seen a steady increase in organic Google traffic over these three years. When comparing 2017 to 2019, we can see that the number of organic Google visitors has more than doubled, increasing by 118%. We also manage Crown Lofts’ Google Ads, and paid traffic has shown similar trends to organic Google traffic, increasing each year. The increase in traffic has then contributed to a higher number of conversions year on year.

Another aspect of SEO is keyword rankings, and we have seen excellent improvements in these over time for the Crown Lofts site. As of 16/04/2020, the website is ranking on page one of Google for 52 of the 87 keywords that we are tracking, which is around 60%. The site is also ranking in the number one position for 31 of these keywords, including the following:

These are all local variations of the primary keyword ‘loft conversion’, so the website appears in the top position on Google for many of the areas where Crown Lofts operate.
